Will you be selling observer passes?

We are anticipating a full event, meaning there will not be extra space in the studios for parent observers. Parents of younger dancers who wish to stick around during the event may have a seat in the lobby, from which you will have a clear view of the studios. We just ask that you avoid crowding around the lobby windows.

What does a convention day at next gen look like?

12 AND UNDER

Dancers will take four classes per day in various styles including jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, floorwork, and improvisation.

Doors will open at 9:00 am with classes running until 2:30 pm with a 45-minute lunch break.

A final schedule will be released around four weeks before the event!

13 AND OVER

Dancers will take six classes per day in various styles including jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, floorwork, and improvisation, as well as seminars on post-secondary options and career paths for dancers.

Doors will open at 9:00 am with classes running until 4:30 pm with a 45-minute lunch break.

A final schedule will be released around four weeks before the event!
