NEXT GEN was created to give the next generation of dancers, teachers, and creators more opportunities to learn, connect, and be seen.
After years of being part of the dance world, we wanted to create a space that felt different. A place where dancers could train with inspiring teachers, discover new perspectives, build real connections, and be surrounded by people who are just as passionate about dance as they are.
NEXT GEN is about creating opportunities, celebrating emerging talent, and bringing people together. It’s about giving the next generation a space to grow, create, and shape what comes next.

NEXT GEN is more than a place to take class. We’re creating experiences that connect dancers with inspiring teachers, emerging creators, and each other. Every event is designed to give dancers something they can take with them long after the final class.
NEXT GEN offers two unique experiences for dancers. Our Intensives are focused on training, connection, and being inspired by incredible teachers. Our Performance Series puts the focus on creativity, collaboration, mentorship, and bringing something original to the stage.

emma andrews
owner and Director
The Visionary
Emma Andrews is an award-winning choreographer, teacher, and adjudicator based in Ontario. Born and raised in Burlington, Emma began dancing at the age of three and went on to train extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop, completing both RAD and Vaganova exams. She has competed nationally across Canada and the U.S., and continues to build a diverse career spanning choreography, education, and adjudication.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University, where she was a key member of the Edge Dance Team, choreographing and competing in university competitions across Ontario. Her professional highlights include choreography for the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra and Niagara College’s dance program.
Inspired by her passion for education and mentorship, Emma founded NEXT GEN Dance Intensive, a summer program dedicated to connecting young dancers with emerging teachers and fresh choreographic voices. She is a proud member of the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance and adjudicates at various competitions across Canada. Emma believes deeply in the power of young people and is passionate about inspiring and empowering the next generation of dancers to reach their full potential both on and off the dance floor

VENUES
We train in professional, thoughtfully chosen studios designed for dancers to feel physically safe and mentally supported, because their safety and comfort matter. Clean, bright spaces with sprung floors allow dancers to focus, move freely, and train with confidence and care.

SMALL CLASSES
We believe in quality over quantity. That's why we cap each class at 30 dancers, to ensure every student gets the individualized attention they deserve. This allows our faculty to truly connect with each dancer, offer meaningful corrections, and create an environment where every voice is heard and every dancer feels seen.

NEXT GEN is built to feel like family. With smaller classes, name tags instead of numbers, and intentional connection, dancers are seen, supported, and remembered, creating a community where everyone feels valued and truly belongs.
